Tembaga Terengganu

Tembaga Terengganu is a collection of homewares handcrafted by the brass smiths of Kampung Ladang in Terengganu, Malaysia.

One of Malaysia’s oldest crafts communities, the brass smiths specialise in using traditional casting techniques to produce parts for fishing boats, cooking pots and ceremonial objects.

Brass used in crafting Tembaga Terengganu objects are upcycled from spent ammunition casings under a special arrangement between the Malaysian Ministry of Defence and Kraftangan Malaysia.
