Athena Empowers

Athena Empowers is an all-women social enterprise that advocates for menstrual health among Malaysian women and girls.

Its eco-friendly range of washable sanitary products and nursing pads help reduce the cost of menstrual cycles while cutting down sanitary waste from landfills.

Through an AirAsia Foundation grant, Athena Empowers organised menstrual hygiene workshops in indigenious villages in Sabah and trained women micro-entrepreneurs to expand its distribution network in remote rural areas.
