Pringgodani baskets are traditional bamboo weaves from the village of Banjarharjo in Central Java, Indonesia. The label is derived from the words ‘pring’ which means bamboo in Javanese and ‘ndandani’ which means to improve.

This collection of baskets and accessories is made from rare black bamboo and designed by the Pringgodani craftsmen during a workshop with Japanese bamboo artist Takayuki Shimizu, one of the pioneers of new bamboo craft.
