Photobook showcasing a selection of 20 portrait prints made during the Kanta Portraits project between 2015 and 2019. They are of indigenous people from Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Taiwan, and Japan, mainly of two major language groups, Austroasiatic and Austronesian. Together with the project description & artist statement, each portrait is accompanied with Jeffrey Lim's understanding of the sitter, on indigeneity and citizenship, of spirituality and alter-narratives. This manuscript is intended as an introduction to the collection of portraits and studies made over the span of the project.

±B6 booklet size 128 x 186 mm, 48 pages, open sewn binding with black thread, offset print 4 colour black & white at higher resolution of 200 line screen, printed on Symbol Tatami White 150 gsm FSC-certified paper. Produced as a book block, that can be combined with other future series. Packed in resealable bags 16 x 24cm. Book weighs 95 grams.
