Celebrate World Tapir Day

Celebrate World Tapir Day

April 27, 2021

Let’s celebrate our beloved odd-toed ungulates this World Tapir Day on April 27! There are only four species in the world and one of them is our very own Malayan Tapir. Unique in the animal kingdom, tapirs have ears like a horse, legs like a hippo and a flexible snout like an elephant trunk. Why odd-toed? Well, tapirs also have 4 toes on each front foot and 3 on each back foot.

Help bring more love to the tapir by getting or gifting one of our tapir products in-store. Each purchase helps the Malaysian Unity of Cultures (MUOC) support tapir conservation efforts in Malaysia and creates more understanding of these gentle giants.
